Fake 'KYC Expired' SMS: Don't Click

Why banks never block accounts over SMS links.

Messages warning that your KYC has expired and your account will be blocked 'today' are phishing. The link leads to a fake bank page that steals your login and OTP.

Instead Open your bank's official app or visit a branch. Report the SMS on the Chakshu portal at sancharsaathi.gov.in.
