Scammers send a UPI 'collect request' disguised as a payment and ask you to enter your PIN to 'receive' it. Entering your PIN always sends money out of your account.
Remember - Receiving money never needs a PIN or a QR scan. - Decline collect requests you didn't expect. - Selling something online? Be extra careful with 'buyers' who overpay and ask for refunds.
